I know how you feel about the classes in the game is up to personal taste but I haven't really had a moment where I feel more attached to my Sorceress vs my Valkyrie. This also leads me to another soft complaint with the game, I really don't find any of the classes I have tried so far all that engaging. I know there are options for males with the warrior, Gandalf and berserker classes but none of these particular archetypes catch my attention. There is nothing wrong with making a sexy waifu but there are allot of players like myself who like to play these games with a feeling that their character is some extension of themselves and playing a female as a male destroys that for us. I know it's been said 100x before but please allow me to echo what others have said, I don't particularly love that classes have been gender locked. I think that this games combat engine is going to shine its brightest in PVP moments but I also think that the gear grind is going to send people packing in a few months when they see how outclassed they are. The combat system is decent but it's more akin to a game like 99 knights or Dynasty warriors than a traditional action RPG. I like all of the sensory overload feelings I am being given by the sheer amount of stuff I can do in the game, there is allot of sand in this sandbox. That said, the world is pretty impressive. I also don't like how all the "cool" armor and weapons are pay items, half the game in an MMORPG is getting your character to look how you envisioned when you rolled it and black dessert doesn't really give the player any awesome options aside from swiping a credit card. it's giving me some archeage vibes with the 'grind dat gear' and power gap it will present.

To be honest Im not feeling the gear system in this game.
